Brent Rippentrop - Career Shaping Finance and Equipment Rental

Brent Rippentrop is a business executive with more than four decades of experience spanning financial services, equipment rental, strategic marketing, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate leadership. Throughout his career, Brent Rippentrop has held senior leadership roles with major organizations, including Deere & Company, John Deere Credit, RSC Equipment Rental, and Sunstate Equipment.

In the mid-1990s, Mr. Rippentrop held leadership positions in the equipment rental industry. As director of rental marketing for Deere’s Construction Equipment Division, he developed strategies aimed at addressing the rapidly expanding construction equipment rental market.

In 2009, Mr. Rippentrop joined RSC Equipment Rental as vice president of financial planning and analysis, bringing decades of finance and operational experience to one of the largest equipment rental companies in North America. Then, in 2012, he joined Sunstate Equipment as vice president of sales and marketing. He served as part of the senior management team and board of directors during a major period of growth. Under the leadership team’s direction, the company expanded from operations in three to eight states through the launch of more than 30 new stores, significantly increasing revenue while maintaining a strong corporate culture.
